    burner is possessed

    hi everyone. i have been burning ok until recently. all of a sudden burner keeps going crazy. i fix the problem, then a couple days later same thing happens. this time i burned one movie completely fine, then went to do next one and poof...tried burning in both nero and imgburn (logs below). this happens regardless of movie, even ones i have previously burned successfully. please please help.

        many times a dvd burner does not like to be slaved to an inferior older drive, that cyberdrive is very old

        try removing the power and cable from it, change the jumper to master on the LG burner and put it on the end of the cable

        you are using a new cable with the new dvd burner?

          switched everything this morning. still no good. drive reads and rips ok, but still will not burn. can drive possible be bad?

              I would still suspect the cable or filter drivers if that's ok
