Quick burning Divx/Avis as Data Dvds

    Hi everyone !
Well my question is pretty simple.
I`ve got some Divx Avi files which I`d like to check out on my TV before converting them to Dvd (ConvertxtoDvd) and archiving.
I use Verbatim RW Dvds and Cds, so how do I make a "quickie" . A pal of mine says he burns them as Data Dvds (He gets 4-5 files on one disc)
HOW DOES HE DO IT ? ?
I`m not sure if my DVD player supports DivX, so how should I go about this ?
I`ve got Ashampoo (hate the name !) and Nero 7 Premium.
For example, I just recieved some vintage BBC Humour as avis. There are 6 episodes so you can understand how I would like to save some time, in case one or the other isn`t worth keeping.

You could watch them on your PC I am almost 100% positive Nero Showtime will play Divx Avi movies if not you can download Media Player Classic. To burn these AVI files to a DVD or CD just open Nero Express and select Data DVD or CD as shown below.
And most DVD players that play Divx will have a logo similar to this on the front of them

Why don't you first burn on a DVD-RW and see? That way you may be saved from wasting a blank.
