    Unable to recover TOC

I was having no problem burning DVDs with DVDshrink via Nero, but now when I try to burn a DVD it will start burning very slowly, get to about 9% completed, then it will quickly go to 100% and give me the message "Unable to recover TOC." I've tried everything I can think of to fix this. I think my burner isn't running normal speed. Any ideas?

I am going to give you a couple of things but you are going to have to wait on a pro regarding firmware. I found an update for a Nutech SDW-082 but it only mentions LX40 & LX48, as it doesn't mention LX44 then I am thinking it is not for your drive which according to the log is a QSI.

        Update Nero ( you will need serial#) - http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=62465.

Reading The Golden Rules couldn't hurt either.
