dvd burning procedure.

    dvd burning procedure.

    gday all im new to the forum and the whole dvd burning thing.
    basicly i would just like to know if this is the basic procedure.

    i have dvd shrink to rip the movie ect to my pc

    and i have winavi video

    and nero express.

    so from what i can fathom i have to use all 3 above in order to actually create a burnt dvd.

    hope some one can help and i hope this is posted in the correct place.

    Welcome to the forum Lawnman, you need alot more program then that these day with new release movie, read about Ripit4me and imgburn plus many other add on programs

      Welcome to the forum.

      You only need winavi and express for conversion of avi files etc.

      If you want to take a DVD, rip it to your hard drive, compress it, and burn to a single layer blank disc then try the programs below.

      Ripit4Me
      (This will remove copy protection and copy to hard drive.)
      DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter and FixVTS are used within this program.

      Then to burn I suggest ImgBurn

      Read the FAQ and guides on the Ripit4Me home page to help you. The forum has numerous threads on how to install and use all of these programs, so if you want to learn you picked the right place!
