skipping

Hello. I am trying to make a back up of a Disney movie. During playback, of the copy, it skips over recorded material that I know is on the disk because I see it when I view it in reverse. The original plays fine and the back up disk seems to be a clean HP DVD-R 16x. Any thoughts? Thanks!!!

Furthermore, I am using an hp dvd 740 drive and used dvd shrink.

This sounds like it may be a burn issue.

Can you post a burn log?

Bad burn I had Lady in the water do the same thing and also freeze.

Disney movies

I made another copy of the same movie and burned at a slower speed of 4x as recommended in the tutorial mentioned and the movie skips at the exact same spots even though the master is fine. When I look at the movie in reverse, after the skipping, the parts skipped over are there! But they skip every time. I only have this issue with Disney movies.
Any thoughts?

Ok,
I guess it is time to find out what you are ripping the movie with. IE. Ripit4me. Please post the logs outlined in FAQ #8 .
