    First burn Lite-On LH-20A1S (9L02).

    As you will see it was supposed to burn @12X but the average write rate was 8.9 & it barely reached 12X at the end.

          full burn in 7 minutes? that's fine, assuming it's learning the media also

          use cdspeed to burn an iso and graph the burn if you want to live on the edge?

          now don't wus out and limit burn speed

            Unfortunately the Lite-On doesn't do the scan but maybe I will have to visit the Registry, I don't know yet.

            Edit: WILCO Chewy.

              @ soup, that stinks......i was under the impression most lite-ons did. Just checkin out your burn log, is the filling buffer....40mb the default setting for that burner?

                      start a thread in general computing with an everest/overclock if you want to try and get the drive to scan?

                      doubt the registry is a problem

                      if that burn was too slow there are some overspeed patches(JK)

                        I think as it is still knew, I will let the Samsung do the scans & let this puppy do what it was born to do, burn baby burn.

                        Edit: BTW I forgot to mention the fact that I installed it, quit laughing now it's true.
