Panasonic DMR-ES15

I was recently given a Panasonic DMR-ES15 dvd recorder. Unfortunately...i was not given the instruction manual! I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this machine, and is it worth the time to actually fool around with it? I am presuming it is something i am not able to hook up to my computer, so recording from dvd shrink does not look possible. Is this unit only for recording from either tv...or video cameras? Any info on this unit would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help!!!!

I'm very familiar with all the Panasonic DVD recorders. You've got a good unit here. While it doesn't have a hard drive, it will do an excellent job of recording and works very well as a player too. The remote takes some getting used to and for this, you do need the instruction manual.
