Other than Nero 7. Nero and Vista are crap. I thought Nero was the best for making Back-ups of my CD's until now. Is there any freeware CD burnign programs out here that work with Vista?
We have DVD burning here. What about CD burning????

I guess my main question hinged on the fact that I have Vista and ONLY nero 7 works with Vista. All other versions are incompatible. I use ImgBurn for my DVD work, but I also work with audio CD's and I was just wondering if there were any freeware programs out here for CD to CD burning.Comment

I use DVDFab/Shrink/ImgBurn all the time for my movies. They all work perfectly. I have the DVD end of things covered just fine and I thank this forum for getting me onto the right path for that. When my DVDxCopy quit working for me, I found this forum. Like I said, I thank everyone out here for the help and advice that is throughout this forum.
I need a new problem solved. Nero does not work with Vista unless I purchase the Nero 7. I am not doing that. I need something that work for CD's now. If ImgBurn can do it, then please tell me how.Comment

All I want to do is take an original CD and make a straight copy of it. If it's not possibe without Nero, then I may just order the Nero 7 Essentials. Then that bring another question to mind. Will the Nero 7 essentials work by itself or do I still need to buy the Full version of Nero 7? I guess I'm quite up in the air with all of this guys.
Some people have told me to get rid of Vista and go back to XP, but I love Vista. I think it's an awsome program. So I am doing my best to find things that work with the Vista program and this way others don't have to look so hard.
So, If I can do it I will. If I can't, then I guess I can say we at least tried. Right?Comment
