nero burn errors

Hi, I have an NEC 2500a dvd burner and it used to burn DVD Video Files just fine and one day it stopped. Everytime I try to author a DVD vidoe in nero then has errors.

I have tried updating the firmware, enabled dma, and a few other things I have seen mentioned on thread here. I have reverted from Nero 7 to 6.6.0.13 still with no luck.

Can someone please help me? Thanks!

From your error codes:

There are many cases where there is a problem with the disc, or information cannot be retrieved from the disc properly. The PC may be unstable or try a new disc.

When was the last time firmware was written for this model? Feb 2006!

It may just be worn out.

may want to try with older media, verb 8x or sony 8x, they may be hard to find ( look in Sear sony 8x and Sam verb 8x)

some people say they dont play well together its an option to clean it out.

This version is older than the hills too...I would use all the Nero clean tools to remove all traces, reboot and reinstall Nero 7.
