disc space problem

I am new to this. In DVD shrink I selected custom space on my dvd to be shrinked into 4482MB. When the "shrinking process ended" I tried to burn it with NERO, but it is showing 4483MB (I don't know why since I selected the target to be 4482MB). It won't let me burn the dvd showing not enough spsce available: Data to be written 4483 MB and Space Available 4482. I only have the one copy on my hard drive and now I can not burn it into DVD.
