Need Help. Bruner won't read any disk that are put in burner.

We don't know what happened one day we burned some movies, then the next day we went to burn some we open the dvd burner put the disk in and our computer wont read any disk. We dont know That much about computers and would like to know if our burner just quit on us or if there is a way to fix our problem. Any information would be great. We are so lost.
