    Good Quality DVD+RW

    Has anyone come across any real good quality +RW DVD's. I always bought the Sony ones made in Japan and they never failed even when they were looking pretty bad. Now they are made in Taiwan Disc ID: SONY-S11-00 and I am having read problems with my PC drive when ImgBurn tries to verify, after the tray is cycled it doesn't see the DVD till I open close the tray 2 or 3 times. This only happens with these disks, Verbatim is never a problem as is the TY Sony disks. Only these Sony Taiwan disks are a problem. My firmware is uptodate, TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H652L 0803 (ATA) I use the DVD's to see how sections look with filter changes so I want RW's, can anyone point me in the direction of a good +RW DVD.

    Thanks in advance.

    Art, can't you check the output on your computer before burning? Is it a problem with iso's or your monitor?

      Durability

      @chewy,

      I like to take a section of the movie and then blank the rest with Vobblanker and encode with RB and the filters so I can watch the 2 minute segment on my TV then see which filter setting I like then process the full movie.

      I think it is a durability problem with these Taiwan Sony RW disks. The Japanese ones I have are quite scratched up but they play and are read everytime. The Taiwan ones seem to scratch very easily and are real picky.
