    Can't read DCD-RW

    Hi.
I'm new here and have a question. How can I re-author my DVD in DVD Shrink without finalizing it first in the recorder?

    Thanks.

you really need to finalize then transfer to your computer then do any editing/reauthoring then burn back to dvd

What I'm trying to do is re-author a show and burn it on to another DVD-RW. This disk already has a show on it. So when I want to burn it DVD Shrink copys the file to the hard drive. Then I insert the disk with one show on it and DVD Shrink kicks the disk out with a message that this disk is not writable. I should be able to burn more the one 30 min. show on a DVD-RW. What am I missing?

With all due respect, and unless I'M missing something here, I think what you're missing is Rule 19 of this forum which, for good or for bad, prohibits discussions of Shrink...

I would have worried about your mentioning the program if I had thought you were using it to circumvent protected content. The issue was not even related to that problem.

finalizing a disk and then adding content?

That's what I was trying to do. I found out that I can not do it. I have to copy everything at once.
