LG GSA-4167B shes slow!!!

Whatsup everyone? I havent been on here in a long time.. My old hard drive went so I got myself a new 500gb seagate sata. Ok so heres the issue.. my dvd burner reads and records way to slow. It seems that the buffering never stops dropping, dosent matter which program I use. I googled this and others have had the same problem but I cant fix it. Im going to post up some screenshots to somehow show you guys my setup.. can anyone help me out? Its driving me crazy. I have the DL13 driver installed.

asus k8v mobo
amd 3000+
512 dual chan ocz
500gb seagate sata
ati radeon 256mb 9800 pro

use 7 as an example and try to find your log? would be my course of action

i did that and i cant find a log anywhere

try a search for NeroHistory.log
