write rate problem with dvddecrypter

Hi

I am posting my question here because the dvddecrypter forum has gone offline i guess

the speed (write rate) of my dvd decrypter used to go up to 4x and could burn a disc in 12 mins. but nowadays it goes no faster than 0.8 and it takes more than 1 hour.

is there anything i can do about that? i tried reinstalling but that didn't help.
