I have some questions (Newbie)

Hi all,

I'll make this short and sweet: I have been backing up all of my DVDs for the past few weeks. Today, I watched a few of the backed-up DVDs and one of them kept stuttering and pausing a certain parts. What is the cause of this?

I use memorex, sony, and dynex DVD+Rs and I burn them at MAX writing speed? Just to let you know, I have a Liteon DVD burner.

Now for the questions:

1) Should I burn at max speed?
2) When I use nero discspeed 4 what tests should I run?
3) If the burned DVD passes the tests that were run in nero discspeed will that guarantee smooth playback in my DVD player?
