Invalid block address

I've got a problem with my new dvd-burner. In fact, if I try to burn a small dvd video on , Nero gives me this "Invalid block address" error.
The files are about 185mb.

My dvd-rw has its latest firmware, nero 8 and my o.s. is Windows Vista
I have tried this writer & media with another pc and it is working perfectly.

I didn't see where you were reading from a source on the hard drive, was it from a dvd disk?

If it's protected then nero won't touch it and our forum rules keep us from helping you

looks like it's crashing right as it starts the burn, might be the drivers for the sata chipset

It's not crashing . When it's start to burn i get this problem & eject the dvd from the writer.I have tried my writer in another pc with same media, working perfectly.

The Problem was solved. I have installed a sata to ide converter & nero is working perfectly.Thanks for all the help given to me.

I am using Windows Vista Home Basic, Nero 8 on Acer Aspire 4520..

I am getting the following error in Nero and i cannot write both CD and DVD... Please help ma out....
