    Burning Error

I have Nero 6 and in the beginning I had no problems burning DVDs. Recently I keep getting the error Session Fixation Error. I thought it was the blanks that I was using Memorex -R. I just bought Verbatim -R and I am still receiving this error. I was told that it was not the software but the DVDs. Can someone help me. I have over 200 blank DVDs and I would like to use them. Is it the software or DVDs?
Thank you for any help you can give me.

Could you post a Nero burn log? Just the last one, not all of them & please remove the serial number before you do.

if you're using a sata burner, then give imgburn a go (it does it better).

nero has been reported to have sata problems (inc. old nero).

also, faster speed blanks seem to effect the use of older nero, i highly doubt it's your blanks, as memorex here in au are ritek (mine are).

i switched from nero 6 to imgburn & never looked back. oh, & older burners are safer at lower burn speeds.

      cheers.

Cannot burn photos to my dvd discs

I am running windows XP. My burner drive is as follows:HL-DT-ST DVD +/- RW GWA 4164B. The diagnostics indicate that this drive is working. Also, I am able to listen to audio Cd's on it and to view photos and movies on a DVD ( Imation DVD-RW). I have tried to make a DVD using the same Imation discs as well as RiData DVD+RW (several brand new discs just out of the box). I have tried 3 burning programs ( Roxio Easy Media Creator 9, AShampoo Burning Studio6, and Imgburn. Most of the time I get a message like "media not recognized" with the first two. With Imgburn I got this a couple of times and a couple of other time the program went through its paces until the very end when I got the message that the burn was unsuccessful. Can anyone suggest what is happening and how to correct the problem? Thanks.
