Best dvd burner

I have read a couple of reviewers rated the Samsung S 223Q as the best burner on the market, I am tempted to purchase it, any comments pro/con, better choices?

I have samsung, pioneer and sony/optaric which is a slim drive for a laptop. And on my HP laptop that I just got it has a pioneer dvd drive. I get better burns from the sony then I do the samsung. But you also have to use good media. I use verbatim DVD+R and CDRs. I get very good recordings from the disks.

i would pick a pioneer.
not only are they good writers, but also great readers.
burn at low speeds & they'll last a long, long time
