windvd4 audio problem

Windvd suddenly stopped playing sound with media from the harddrive but plays sound with media from cd! What gives?

ok it seems that windvd doesn´t play sound from divx movies anymore(it did before) but plays sound from mpegs! Can anyone help me with this problem becouse i use windvd very much

Have you inadvertently uninstalled an audio codec (such as an MP3 codec), which is used by DivX-compressed .AVIs but not MPEGs? Do the DivX-compressed .AVIs play with audio under Windows Media Player?

Yes the divx movies all all play with sound with every other program such as powerdvd or WMP. Windvd did play my movies with sound until recently. I dont know what happened and i need to fix this becouse i use windvd for the tv-out feature. Plz if anyone could help me i would be very happy

Sounds like you've corrupted one of WinDVD's files. I'd suggest that you uninstall it and then reinstall it...
