    changin subtitle colour in powerdvd

I have recently upgraded to win xp and power dvd 4.0. Now my subtitles are a nasty green colour with a blue outline and they are extremely hard to read. Win media player also has the same problem.

any ideas how i can change the font colour??

    thanks

You might try checking your desktop color settings...

thanks for your help but im a little confused as to what you mean.
i tried changing my desktop colour (display properties: appearance) but there was nothing set to the nasty green colour or any otions for subtitles.

can you give us a clue?

      thanks

I had the same problem, at my computer it was caused by clicking the "hardware acceleration" option.

I simply deinstalled powerdvd, reinstalled using default settings, and the problem was gone (I had to reinstall because I could not deselect the checkbox)

        Hope this helps!

i had the same problem when i had PowerDVD 4
i think it was caused by my video card drivers or drivers settings

you can try PowerDVD 5 Deluxe
now i have hardware acceleration and the subtitles are ok
