Hi,
Xvid is blocky, looks like shit in comparison to divx5/3.11 etc. I have googled all over the net to find solutions to this and all I keep findinga are comments like " You don't know how to use it ". I have a bunch of divx movies encoded using Xvid and as much as I love the concept of Open Source to be quite frank the picture quality is blocky, very unflattering. I would like to rectify this but as I said before I all come across is " you need to know how to use it " comments. *How* to I make Xvid encoded movies actually look half decent????
Thank you
