Star Wars Episode 2 Fullscreen Problems

I use powerdvd 4.0 XP and everytime i try to play it it just give me an error. Do fullscreen DVD's not work on computers? I don't think its my DVD-ROM because i have quite a few new DVD's and they all work fine.

    Help is appreciated.

"Do fullscreen DVD's not work on computers?"

They work just fine on mine.

What is the error message being generated?

      I'm getting an:

      Error Code: 80900016

      "The drive is not responding"

"Unable to recognize or communicate with the drive.

Please check whether your drive is installed properly and try again later."

The drives clearly doing something since i can hear it seek and see the light on it. I can browse all of the files on the dvd also but i still get the same error message with any of the vob files.

Do you think if i try out windvd is would work?

Have you been able to successfully play this DVD on a standalone DVD player - or on your PC, using a different software DVD player (such as WinDVD)?
