    I neeeeeeeeeeeeed help!

    I have a new Toshiba Satellite 2410-303 I want to make my DVD Region-Free

    It's R2

    The type is : Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-R2212 1314
    please help me with some patches or information

      I flashed my driver Unfortunately it plays no DVD's now. When I insert a disc my pc Hangs up. What should I do ?

        whoa, I had the same problem. any DVD-Video i inserted would completely f*** up my system. only formatting could I get it back again.

        hope that's not your case, but see if you can find the original firmware for you DVD and forget about region-free altogether. it's better than not being able to use your drive, i can assure you. and it may just be a software problem. i use (and used) win2k pro; get the latest (legal ) driver from Toshiba and see what happens

        hope it works out allright

          If you have 2000/XP, I suggest you pay a visit to the creators of CloneCD, and check their free stuff section, they have a Region Free program for all OS's, and it should fix your problem
