    Class Not Registered?

What does that mean? I put the avi file in divFix and this is what it said?

    No file selected.
Error checking for file: C:\Program Files\KaZaA\My Shared Folder\Ring (aka Ringu) (jap horror) (divx) (full).avi
NOTE: The error checking is not perfect!
Corrupted data detected at frame 135771
    Error offset: 722479208 ($2B102868)
    Done.

How can I fix this movie? Even if I have to take out a chunk off of it? I'll die if I dont see this movie ! ! !

      1) Perhaps I can clarify my original suggestion - Questions related to DOWNLOADED videos should be posted at the "P2P" sub-forum

      2) Your question certainly has nothing to do with the playback of DVDs...

I downloaded the exact same file and had the same errors. What u can do is download and install virtualdub, www.divx.com has it on the site. When u run virtual dub, open the movie file and it should automatically reconstruct the file. Ignore the warnings that appear when it's done reconstructing. Then make sure that direct stream is selected under video and under audio. Next save the file as avi, u can rename it. Depending on how fast ur processor is this process can be a while. Mine is 1.8 and it took me about 8min. I do this with all my video files that don't work. Especially the movies that say its only 1 min long but its actually longer and don't run properly. I hope this helps u.
