PowerDVD 2.55 File Mode

My PowerDVD player has decided to run in file mode for all DVDs that I put into the drive - and as a result I cant play a single one of them. I know this because it appears in the remote control window, and pulls up a file selection screen whenever I put in a DVD.

How do I get it to work please!
