DVD - DVD-r Playback

I'm a beginner & need help with DVD backups. Problem is I can make a perfect copy but it only plays back on my PC. Have 4 standalone DVD players but won't work on any of them. I'm using DVD Decryptor, DVD2ONE, Nero 5.5.10.0. PC is AMD Athlon 1600+ XP Processor with Windows XP. Using Pioneer 104 DVD-r rewriter. Problem may be settings on PC, but I don't know what to change or how.

1) Are you making certain to create an empty "AUDIO_TS" folder and a "VIDEO_TS" folder containing all of the .IFO, .BUP, and .VOB files?

2) Are you SURE that any of the standalones recognizes the type of media you are burning?

Have just installed Nere 5.5.10.20 and it seems to have helped. I'lve tried two films so far & both ok. Thanks for your suggestions about IFO & vob files, these were in place. Standalones play all media too.
