I can't play SUPERMAN DVD !!!! on my PC

Help!!! I can't play Superman DVD on my pc!!! I bought 3 dvds (Superman 1, 2, 3) - region 1 - And i can't play all of them.

I've tried with PoerDVD XP, NVDVD, WMP9, WinDVD 3 - none of them works.

Superman 1 install this pc friendly dvd software but it doesn't work either.
i have my dvddrive region free (LiteOn 16x)

1) Exactly what happens when you try to play them on your PC?

2) Have you successfully played them on a standalone player?
