I am thinking about buying the ND-1300. However I need to be able to play both DVD region 1 and region 2 as my DVD collection consists of both of these regions.
Will Decrypter set the region for the playback? Can I use a firmware upgrade/hack? Any suggestions?

PS And no, I do not plan to rip DVDs, however if Decrypter can be used to set the playback region..
