Flashing DVD Drivers to RPC1 or tricking them.

    Hello There.
A long time ago i had a nifty link to a page with tons of firmware upgrades for various DVD-Rom Drivers..

    I have a Pioneer A06 ±R ±RW
    [ Pioneer DVR-106 (OEM for DVR-A06) BARE DRIVE ]

I want to unlock it to RPC1 so i can change Regions as mouch i want.

Is there souch a flash ?
    and can i unlock 4X recording ?

Im using DVD Shrink 3.0 Beta 5

I also have DVDGenie 3.5 if that helps..

"Im using DVD Shrink 3.0 Beta 5"

When using DVD Shrink, simply select "Region Free" (more accurately, ALL regions). Doing so will eliminate the need to consider any region adjustments to your hardware...

      Ill be more specific.

My DVD-R is a RPC2 Wich means I can change region 3 times more and it will lock to the last..

RPC1 = Region Free and will not lock.

The problem that came to me was after a couple of Backupped DVD´s later "YES I HAVE PAYED FOR THEM ALL"

When letting ShrinkDVD analyze the disc it generates a "Maximum numbers of secrets ower....xxxxxx

The Drive is still set to Region 1 and i still have 3.Times before it locks.

I Want to flash the drive into RPC1 as it was before but pioneer wont accept flashes with lower version of software.

      Got any Ideas ?
