windvd or powerdvd 5 !! why not both ??

hi,
i have a p4 1.7 mhz, 256 mb ram win xp sp1 pc !! i used powerdvd 5 full version!!then if i install the full activated version of windvd 5 on windvd 5 startup it gives me error!! my powerdvd 5 is fully updated and windvd 5 is also the latest version!! then if i uninstall powerdvd 5 and then reboot and install windvd5 it works fine!! pls , can anybody help me in keeping both software on my pc!! same thing happens to my friends pc!!

Sounds like these two competing software DVD players have "Irreconcilable Differences" - actually conflicts. This is not at all unusual when dealing with pairs of similar software (NERO versus Roxio/Adaptec is one that comes immediately to mind).

Chances are, you'll simply have to choose which one you prefer...
