virtual dub/vobsub problem

I am trying to make a movie in virtual dub but no mather how often I install vobsub and virtual dub, in filters in virtual dub I just do not get "textsub". I use vobsub 2.23 and virtual dub 1.5.1.1. (because this contains the function stream and I read somewhere that I first need to change the audio from mp3 to ac3 and the movie from 23. ... to 25.000 fps) or does sombody know how to do so wit virtual dub 1.5.4?
