Hi, I wanna play dvd's on my computer but starting like 10 minutes later, screen freezes. Computer doesn't respond to anything. Do you have any ideas? My computer is a laptop, AMD +2200. 64 MB shared video memory. 512 MB total memory. Also, winDVD software(which came with the computer doesn't work), but the software in the dvd works. I tried to lower screen resolution but it freezed during the end of movie!!!

i have seen that problem in a couple of laptops.
What usually causes this problem is the overheating of the CPU or other components so make sure that your laptop is sitting in a place where it gets ample cooling.
Secondly try to use other software like PowerDVD. You just might get better playback.
Thirdly and finally the operating system sometimes can mess up things so try changing your OS if everything fails.
