    Is my dvd-rom crappy?

    I got a BTC dvd 12x installed on a P Celeron 433 Mhz , 192 MB ram 4.5gb hdd(almost full) and a GeForce 2 MX 400 64 Mb ram!
.......and i feel that sometimes when i watch dvd's it seems the quality(speed) is crappy ( DMA enabled anyway).
Is that all about the capability of my PC or is the DVD-ROM crappy???(it's a BTC 12x)

    It could be your processor.
P Celeron 433 Mhz is a bit close to the limit 350 Mhz.
Combine that with a not so well reading DVD and maybe it is the result of your playback
Hope I am wrong though coz this could mean upgrading

Speak until the tape runs out. Playback the tape until the story is finished...

I thing the problem is on the resolution if you enable the dysplay resolution to 16 bit insteatd of 32 and only 800X ...... the problem goes I had the same problem in one of my computers using a build in dysplay card TNT.
