    Cannot view dvd on laptop except with dvdshrink

    I have a laptop running xp pro and with a philips dvd rw 6004 and use realplayer 9 and windvd 4 to view dvd's. I am also using dvd region-free 3.25. With one particular dvd I can see the first 30 seconds up to the main menu/preview option but thereafter the screen is blank. However using dvd shrink2.3 I can see the whole movie in the preview screen. Any ideas what I am missing?

      Is this an ORIGINAL DVD, or one that you compressed using DVD Shrink in the "Re-author" mode?

      If it's the latter, be advised that by using the "Re-author" mode, the menu will no longer be active...

          As far as I am aware it is an original DVD.
