    MPEG to DVD

Have been trying to find software to convert MPEG movies captured from a DVB-S pci card to DVD. Have tried TMPGEnc, DVDLab & others. Some will make the conversion (after many error windows), but there is no audio file created. Others simply can't do it. Has anyone tried this?

here is a guide how to convert DVB2DVD. I have done it and it works fine.

you don´t have to convert just demux and author and burn.

        perfect quality on the video.

        link DVB2DVD

          I can't get that link - Bad Gateway but I don't demux - I transcode with PVAstrumento.
Latest version I accept all the defaults, add an ".mpg" to the file name for clarity, let it transcode to a Program Stream, then put that into TDA.
I'm using the Transport Stream from a terrestrial freeview.

I'm very much interested in seeing this guide as well... for some time now I have tried many ways to convert DVB to DVD without re-encoding but none worked... The link by the way still doesn't seem to work with me... is it possible to write the full address instead....?! thanks

The link just worked for me but earlier I simply copy/pasted as suggested.
I've found PVAstrumento quite reliable for changing the TS stream to a PS stream, then editing/authoring/burning from TMPGEnc DVD Author. Frankly the only errors I get are due to glitches in the original broadcast.
