Konka Kd-1800u1

I've tried to play a backup of my DVD movie on this player, no luck.
I thought because I was using DVD+RW discs, so purchased DVD-R and burned 2, still no success. My friend has a player and I had np playing the DVD+RW on his player.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
