quiet audio

when playing a copied dvd from hard drive using powerDVD I have to turn the volume all the way to hear it. what could be causing this? It works but I get the nice feedback hum from the speakers as well. thanks for any help.

Perhaps you've selected (or the DVD's default is) a DTS audiostream. Try selecting another audiostream...

thanks for the input. turns out it was a setting in the configuration of PowerDVD that needed to be changed. I changed from 3d sound to stereo sound and then needed to choose the option to boost the sound. after that it works great. thanks for getting me thinking.
