I'm basically a bit of a moron when it comes to DIVx, decoders, ect. I know how to download and play programs that play my DVD's, but that is it.
I use WinDVD to take screen grabs from my DVD and it performs the action quite well- though it would be nice if it had a batch feature where you could set it to take snaps automatically at set intervals.
Anyway, I recently did a little spring cleaning on my computer, upgraded, ect. I unloaded a Divx codec package and uprgraded to another Divx package. I also upgraded to Windvd platinum 5.
I don't know if it's just me but since the adjusments when I play DVD's the color of the video is a little darker than I'd like. I tried the new color adjusments on 5 and it works perfectly in playback but the color adjusments dont stick to when it comes to capturing.
And yes I know about photo editors and I know I can adjust colors there, but I was just wondering if there was something I could do to eliminate that step.
Is there a codec package I have or shouldn't have?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Amy
