Failed to remove protection!! (106D)

Hi,

I am using DVD Decrypter to make protection free DVD copies. The last time I have started the DVD Desrypter it complained about that "the unit region code is not set.. blah blah"... I set it to (2)... then next time I got that message again... changed it again...

but I have realized that the number of "region change" goes down... now it is 3... I also relized that Power DVD is not playing back other regions... So I have a protected DVD Drive! (Poneer-106D DVD Writer)

I have installed the DVD Regionfree 3.39 software... but the protection is still there!!! I do not want to flash one of those Region Free firmwares... it is too risky...

What can I do to get rid of this Region Protection!?

Dvd decrypter has reported you this sort of error 'logical media region code mismatched' right.
Then decrypter will swith on to a slower decryption method which personall i find the best.After that you may start your decryption
normally.

If still can't figure this out just switch on to an other program such as Smartripper or Vstrip.

If you want the right firware's for your drive just ask.

From within DVD Decrypter's "Settings" under the "CSS" tab, select one of the "Brute force" ripping methods...

There is no need 'setarip' dvd decrypter will choose the appropriate decryption method for your decryption.
