Hi,
I have a Toshiba Notebook P15-S479 (P4HT 2.8Gb 512Mb 60Gb) that comes with Toshiba Style Bay TV Tuner (USB external NTSC TV tuner).
The OS is Windows XP Media Center.
The latest driver for the tuner is installed.
DirectX 9.0b installed with all hotfixes availables.
I use a set-top box, connected with the tuner by the component video cable that comes with the tuner.
The TV tuner works properly using Media Center application (that comes with Windows) after configured to use the set top box.
But when I try to use any other software (like Pinnacle Studio 9, Intervideo WinDVR), fails to make connection with the tuner. I tried many things, many softwares but nothing works.
The software detects the TV Tuner, but fails on capture / show the image.
Please help me.
I search hard for some help on the web but I found nothing about it.
