DVD Drive Problem

Hi, this is my 1st post.
I've been having this problem for a few days now. My DVD Drive wont read DVDs but it reads Games and CDs just fine !
I don't know what the problem is ?
It keeps saying : Please insert a disk into drive E !
Any usefull ideas ?

Is your dvd rom a combo drive or just dvd ?

Try installing it through windows ADD NEW HARWARE , find any suitable updates for your drivers and try disconnecting your other drive to see if it works.
