hp dvd300i help plz

I have a problem with dvd shrink 3.1.7 dvd shrink 2.3 works fine. I figure it is my firmware. I need to find a way to set it to all region. I think this is why it gives me a protection problem. I installed DVDRegionFree50 and it will now backup. I do not want to pay for this though. Can anyone help me find a firmware to use or an alternative to DVDRegionFree50.

Download this firmware ,this might solve you some problems but is not an alternative to region free ,this firmware has a list of useful fixes and will affect your drive's performance.

decryipt it no i had that firmware installed and still had the problem regionfree fixes my problem but don't want to pay for it

First of all don't cross post again,then as I already pointed out an rpc1 for your hp300i there isn't avalible but since the nec-1100a have both the same hardware structure then it may work fine.Although I haven't tested it I assume that your os will label your drive as a nec-1100a when you come to flash.One other thing the rpc2 firmware i posted above won't alter at all your region system therofre you will still have have an rpc2.
