Region free Onkyo and PHILIPS PLEASE HELP!

I would please like to know if it is possible to unlock the Onkyo DV-SP301 , I was looking for that unlock code everywhere and couldnt find it, can anyone please help?

Another think, A friend of mine is considering buying Philips DVP642 , at some place they say its multi region, allthough I think they mean more to multi system because of the Pal,NTSC,
Does anyone knows if the dvd comes unlocked when its bought?
if not can it be crecked easily ?
