i really dont understand it. I captured movies from my miniDV videocam. I used premiere with firewire,so technically its dv/ntsc 0.9 but the video is slightly chopped at the edges especially the top and bottom. I also made a dvd menu using adobe encore and to my suprise the dvd menu doesnt show fully on the the 42" wide downstairs. the words are cut off on the edges especially.
Am I missing something, i recreated the dvd menu in 16:9 and square and still i get bad results. its like my DVDs are cursed because they dont appear correctly as those nice dvd movies i rent/buy in stores. can anyone shade some light with aspect ratios please?
