Just found out my new DVD drive is Region Protected, what do i do?

So i read about the LG GSA 4130 DVD drive and from the reports i read it was a overall good unit so i bought it. Now when i try to rip my very first DVD with DVD Decrypter i received the following message:

W 21:32:38 Logical unit region code has not been set!

W 21:32:38 The slower 'Brute Force' cracking methods will be used if I/O Key Exchange fails.

W 21:32:38 Visit http://www.rpc1.org for Region Free (RPC Phase I) Firmware.

I tried visiting the above page but it seems to be down. What do i do? I am not certain what this region code means but i don't think it is a good thing from what little i have heard. Should i try to return the drive for a region free one? Can i still Decrypt DVD
s with this unit if it is not region free?

Most drives alow you to change the region code five times. Yours has not been set yet. You need a program that will allow your drive to ignore the region code on the disc.

I just went to http://www.rpc1.org and found it to be up, so you should go there for what you need.
