Audio out of sync with picture...

Hi,
During playback the audio doesnt match the video, the audio lags behind.... Why does this occur & is it fixable? It happens when played from file too not just after its burnt....

AMD64 3500+
512ddr 3200
Pioneer 108 dvd/rw (latest firmware)
Nero 6.6.0.6

Is this regarding duplication from an original commercial DVD, some other source, some other format?

What software did you use?
