Sound problem

I have PowerDVD 4.0 installed on my Pentium III 550 Mhz PC
My sound card is a Sound Blaster Live 1024 (4 channel output) with LiveWare 3.0 drivers

If I select 4 speakers option in Power DVD audio configuration, no sound it's played, completely mute. I can just use 2 speakers option with A3D/DirectSound3D

I can't understand why I can't use the 4 channel capability of my sound card

There have been prior postings indicating this same problem with PowerDVD 4.0. Do try WinDVD 3.xxx as an alternative...
