PowerDVD 6.1417 still problems with mp4/mov

    Good afternoon,

i checked today PowerDVD 6 and updated it to 6.1417 to see if it still has problems with mov files and to figure out mp4 compatibility. Alternate quicktime drivers installed!

I encountered huge problems playing the following RE videos and trailers:

    - http://www.survivhor.com/RE1.5/VIDEOS/ (source mp4)
    - http://mm.filmweb.pl/95743/resident_evil-apoc_m480.mov (quicktime teaser)

Do i need any more plugins, filters and/or even this stupid sized QuicktimePlayer? Are these videos running on your PowerDVD without problems?

    please help!

    best regards

Have you tried viewing the video clips in any alternate software players?

..well i did the hard way converting them to divX but i don´t like this solution for everyday usage. Actually there must be some way out. I am wondering that nobody else has got these problems....hmmmmm.....are you all using 3 or more players? Thats odd.

Also there are some other mysteries arround this PDVD 6.0 software i don´t understand. Didn´t want to start a new thread though just post it here. Hope thats okay.

dolby digital ex does exist and it works for 6.1 , 7.1 and you can enable 5.1 with some registry values.
and finally, still there is a beautiful equalizer which has to be activated, not the poor presets.
anybody a clou whats this all about?
