need region-free hack AKAI CT-S14MTD-E3

This lovely tv-dvd combo bought in the Netherlands has problems playing region 2 dvds but will play region 2,4 dvds. Want to see if setting to region free will fix or that a brick through the screen is necessary.

don't get the 2 no but 2,4 yes thing myself but there r many things in life i don't get

Sounds like your player is region 4 and won't play region 2 dvd's/ Also sounds like you have some DVD's coded region 2 and 4, that's why it plays them.

yep, that's probably it, but it played region 2 b4 so it's screwed up now, that's why I want 2 try with the hack
